CANNON AUTOMATA COMPAS

COMPAS is the Automata’s Programmable Automation Suite. An integrated environment for developing complete solutions for industrial automation. It enables the implementation of systems ranging from simple man-machine interface (HMI) to the wider operation of industrial facilities (SCADA). 
Combining the data acquisition and visualization capabilities offered by WinMachLite with the potential for process control of CoDeSys can meet any kind of automation requirements. With Compas you optimize investments in software, reducing training and getting benefits in development.

HMI (WinMachLite®)

WinMachLite® is the result of extensive research and experiments conducted by Automata in the development and application of machine control systems. The Workbench Editor (Wbedit) – the environment with which WinMachLite® is developed – runs on an embedded operating system generating a powerful run time and ensuring high performance and reliability.
The revolution brought about by WinMachLite® lies essentially in its architecture: a relational database makes up its nerve centre. Access to the database is open to application modules that exchange information with the field (e.g. drivers) or interact with the operator (e.g. graphic items, alarms, trends, formulas, etc.). The speed and efficiency of the WinMachLite® architecture can be better appreciated if one considers that all the relevant modules of every single item are automatically updated every time the item is acted upon.

IEC 61131-3 programming with CoDeSys

CoDeSys is the standard development tool for Automata control systems. It is used to program applications in various languages according to the international standard IEC 61131-3.
Beside the graphical and text editors the tool includes a powerful debugger, a library manager and easy to handle configurators all supported field busses.
A further feature is an integrated visualization tool that allows to create graphical operator interfaces running direct on the controller or WEB based on any device with Ethernet interface and Web Browser.
CoDeSys applications designed for a Automata controller are also running on any other Automata control system – just switch the target device in the PLC configurator, recompile and download – thats it.

Wire

WiRE can be installed and run on standard Personal Computers with the following Hardware and Software features:
  • Emulator Mode: Emulate Automata HMI interface in windows environment. No connection with a target panel is needed.
  • Supervisor monitoring: Remote connection to the Automata HMI interface is made by network (LAN or Ethernet) or via modem through the remote access module. Remote user can surfing through the pages and checks the panel configuration.
  • Remote control: Remote connection to the Automata HMI interface is made by network (LAN or Ethernet) or via modem through the remote access module. Remote user can surfing through the pages, checks the configuration and sets parameters.
