Solid State Relays

Gefran’s Solid-state relay or SSR is a device that uses electronic anti parallel transistor technology to perform the switching function of controlling an electrical load, typically a resistivity load.

GQ

Zero crossing relay with anti parallel theorist output is the most used solid state relay in industrial applications.
In fact, it can be used for resistivity, inductive and capacity loads.
“Zero crossing” relay is energised when voltage meets the zero point and dis-energised when current meets the zero point, depending on the signal control on the input circuit.
This relay has been designed to stand high-value transitory applications .
When the relay has to stand high currents for a long period, it is necessary to grant a proper dissipation and an adequate electrical connection between relay terminals and the load.

GRS

Correct management of electrical heating elements for industrial heating applications requires robust, safe, interference free, fast and diagnostically capable static contactors.
The range of static contactors GRS meets all these requirements with current ratings from 15 to 120 Amperes and voltages up to 600 V AC, with extremely compact size in every single current level.

GZ

3-phase “zero crossing” solid state relay for control of resistivity and inductive loads.
Integrated device designed for industrial applications demanding control of high power levels and frequent switching, with loads up to 3 x 55A (AC51) at 400/480/600Vac.

GD

The GD series of solid state relays (zero crossing type) are solid state actuators with heater break diagnostics (Hb function), selectable current scale, and adjustable setpoint. Junction overheat protection is available as an option.
An alarm signal is provided in output. The GD series of solid state relays are offered with currents of 40A, rated voltage 480 Vac, and Vdc input control signal.

GRS-H

Continuous and precise control of electrical resistors for industrial heating applications requires reliable, compact, fast with integrated diagnostic Solid State relays.
The GRS-H series of Solid State Relay with heat sink, current ratings from 15 to 120 Amperes, voltages up to 660Vac, zero crossing switching (ZC) and in ultra compact sizes is the ideal device for this type of application.
The high efficiency heat sinks guarantee for all models the continuous supply of the rated current at a working temperature of 40°C, supported by fans for the 90A and 120A models.

GTZ

3-phase “zero crossing” power solid state unit for control of resistivity and inductive loads, complete with aluminium heat sink and DIN guide connection.
Integrated device designed for industrial applications demanding control of high power levels and frequent switching, with loads up to 3 x 55A (AC51) at 400/480/600Vac.
Control is logic type (Vdc), signalled by LEDs. Each phase is controlled by means of semiconductors .
The constructive elements, special production process, and new, sturdy case, provide excellent reliability and continuity of service.

GTD

The GTD series of power solid state relays (zero crossing type) are solid state actuators with built-in heat sink, heater break diagnostics (Hb function), selectable current scale, and adjustable set-point. Junction overheat protection is available as an option.
An alarm signal is provided in output. The GTD series of power solid state relays are offered with currents of 25A and 40A, rated voltage 480 VAC, and Vdc input control signal.
Voltage transistors are protected by MOV (varistor). All models are designed to guarantee performance at rated currents, with continuous power conduction at 40°C. See the dissipation curves for other performance conditions.
Thanks to their high performance, they are appropriate for very short switching times, with millions of operations without wear on components.
